YOU CAN DO IT! SPORTS MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKERS GAINING NOTICE

Demand for sports motivational speakers has risen 25%
in the last year, according to CNBC's Garrett Glaser.
Glaser: "Many companies are willing to pay almost any price
to hear the words of a sports legend." Glaser called former
Bears LB MIKE SINGLETARY a "rising star in the world of
motivational speaking." Glaser: "Singletary charges around
$15,000 per speech, and that doesn't include things like
airplane tickets and hotel rooms if he has to travel." Top
speakers include GEORGE FOREMAN, who gets "close to" $75,000
a speech, while Celtics coach RICK PITINO gets $50,000 for a
two-hour talk, and Heat coach PAT RILEY gets "upwards of"
     $45,000 a speech ("Business Center," CNBC, 3/30).
