NO BULL: HAWKS TOP NBA ATTENDANCE RECORD FRIDAY NIGHT

The Bulls-Hawks game on Friday night at the Georgia Dome
drew "a league-record crowd of 62,046," according to Lacy
Banks of the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES. The crowd topped the 61,983
set at the Silverdome in '88 for a game between the Celtics
and the Pistons (CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, 3/28). Following the
Bulls game versus the Bucks last night before a sellout crowd
of 18,717 at the Bradley Center, Banks reports Michael Jordan
has now played before a "career crowd total" of 20,008,642
fans during 1,077 regular-season and playoff games (CHICAGO
SUN-TIMES, 3/30). Reviewing the week that was, Bob Kurson
reported that the Bulls drew more than 110,000 paying fans in
three road games last week (CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, 3/29).
