FOX FINALIZES ACQUISITION STAKE IN SPEEDVISION/OUTDOOR LIFE

          Fox/Liberty Networks has acquired a one-third ownership
     interest in Speedvision and Outdoor Life Networks.  The
     addition of the two nets to the Fox/Liberty family increases
     its national cable networks to six: Fox Sports Net; FX; Fox
     Sports World; FiT TV; and Speedvision and Outdoor Life
     Networks.  Fox/Liberty Networks President & CEO Tony Ball:
     "It's our goal to be the industry leader in the programming
     categories for which we see future growth.  The addition of
     Speedvision and Outdoor Life Networks gives Fox/Liberty the
     top supplier of automotive, boating and aviation programming
     and the number-one network of outdoor sports, adventure and
     wildlife."  Cox Communications will retain a one-third
     ownership stake in Speedvision and Outdoor Life, while the
     net's other original shareholders --Comcast, MediaOne, Roger
     Werner and Daniels Programming -- will hold the remaining
     one-third ownership position (Fox Sports).
