ON THE PROWL: PREDATORS SIGN-UP TWO CORPORATE SPONSORS

The Predators announced the signing of two corporate
partners yesterday. First American National Bank was named
the official bank of the team. The long-term marketing
agreement will feature First American as a premiere sponsor
in Nashville Arena and on Predators game broadcasts. In
addition to advertising and promotional activities, First
American, through its First American Goal Program, will
donate funds in recognition of the first Predators goal of
each game to a Middle TN charitable organization. The team
also reached a five-year deal with Pepsi to become the
official soft drink of the Predators and Nashville Arena.
The deal includes pouring rights and signage in the Arena.
Pepsi will also be an active promotional vehicle for and
with the team through radio and TV broadcasts (Predators).
DETAILS: In Nashville, Carrington Nelson reports that
First American will provide the Predators with "a variety of
banking services," including Predators debit cards and
personalized checks. The bank will also install ATMs at the
arena. Nelson adds that as of yesterday, the team was 624
season tickets short of its goal of 12,000 sales needed by
the league imposed deadline of March 31 (TENNESSEAN, 3/26).
