          Labatt Breweries and CTV Sports Net reached a four-year
     broadcasting deal for Labatt to sponsor NHL hockey beginning
     in the '98-'99 season.  The partnership will broadcast one
     game a week for each of the 27 weeks of the NHL regular
     season, in addition to 14 games featuring U.S.-based teams
     during the first round of the playoffs (CP, 2/14).
          NOTES: SI's '98 swimsuit issue hits newsstands on
     Wednesday, but an extra 50 photos can be seen online at
     www.cnnsi.com for a one-time charge of $7.95 (USA TODAY,
     2/16).  The issue also features seven "hot couples" from pro
     sports, including Wayne Gretzky and Janet Jones (AP/Mult.,
     2/17)....Barry Diller was profiled by Geraldine Fabrikant in
     Sunday's N.Y. TIMES.  Diller "plans to spend at least" $20M
     on City Vision, his new local programming format that will
     debut in Miami, which includes Heat broadcasts (N.Y. TIMES,
     2/15)....In L.A., Larry Stewart wrote that Fox Sports Net's
     new magazine show "Goin' Deep" -- hosted by Joe Buck -- "has
     a number of segments and moves well" (L.A. TIMES, 2/16).
