          Procter & Gamble plans to break ads for its Olean brand
     olestra fat substitute February 21 during the Games (AD AGE,
     2/10)....With Web sites around the Games, USA TODAY notes
     people "seem to be using the Web to make up the time
     difference" in Nagano.  Nagano's official site, www.nagano.
     olympic.org, received 19.6 million hits Saturday, more than
     in any day during the '96 Games.  However, a USA TODAY/
     IntelliQuest poll rated CBS SportsLine's winterolympics.com
     ahead of Nagano's official site (USA TODAY, 2/11)....Network
     news coverage of the Games: "CBS Evening News" profiled the
     pairs figure skating competition.  ABC's "World News
     Tonight" gave a 20-second results report.  "NBC Nightly
     News" had no mention of the Games (2/10)....Among David
     Letterman's "Top Ten Rejected Olympic Sports:" 10) The
     Intern Slalom; 9) Vanilla Ice Dancing; 8) Downhill Butt-
     Slide; 7) Men's 5000-Meter Groin Pull; 6) Naked Bobsled; 4)
     Run Over a Spice Girl With a Zamboni; 2) The 2-Man Monica
     Lugeinsky; 1) Michelle Kwan Do ("Late Show," CBS, 2/10).

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown. SBJ’s Tom Friend also joins the show to share his insights into NBA viewership trends.
