TEAM MEDIA NOTES: MIAMI FANS WILL FEEL A FUSION OF ACTION

          Sunshine Network, FL's "largest" RSN, last week agreed
     to a multiyear deal to produce and air games for the MLS
     Miami Fusion.  Sunshine will produce 20 games per season and
     provide marketing and promotional support to the team. 
     Sunshine has 4.3 million subscribers (MEDIAWEEK, 2/9 issue).
          MLB: SportsChannel FL will air 67 games during the
     Devil Rays' inaugural season (SportsChannel FL)....Fox
     Sports Midwest (FSM) and the MLB Cardinals have extended
     their rights package through 2005, extending the current
     pact three years.  FSM will televise 50 games this season,
     and 60 next year (FSM)....The A's reached a five-year
     extension with Fox Sports Bay Area through 2003 (A's).
