FOX SPORTS NET GROWS TODAY AS SPORTSCHANNELS BECOME HISTORY

Today, SportsChannel's Pacific, Chicago, Ohio, New
England and New York outlets, along with the MSG Network,
will become rebranded under the Fox Sports Net and national
programming on FSN will now reach nearly 60 million
subscribers. Rupert Murdoch and Cablevision Chair Charles
Dolan will officially "flip the switch" signaling the
changeover today in New York (FSN). FSN placed three-page
ads in the N.Y. dailies announcing today's switch-over. It
featured the logos of the Devils, Islanders, NHL Rangers,
Knicks, Nets, Mets, Yankees and MSG surrounding the FSN
logo, with the tag line: "Now It's Not Only The New York
Area They Have In Common, It's Fox Sports Net" (THE DAILY).
