REEBOK UPS AUTO RACING INVESTMENT BY BACKING IRL TEAM

          Reebok has signed on as sponsor of Eliseo Salazar's IRL
     racing team through the '98 season.  The company made its
     debut as the team's sponsor during last weekend's Disney
     200.  Reebok and IN-based R & S Cars, the marketing and
     development arm of Riley & Scott, Inc., will provide the
     primary support behind Salazar's IRL team.  The deal marks
     Reebok's second motorsports foray, after the company
     partnered with Team Scandia's NHRA Team to sponsor Cristen
     Powell, the 18-year old Top Fuel drag racer entering her
     second season in NHRA Top Fuel (Reebok).
