EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          The Canucks promoted coach MIKE KEENAN to Dir of Hockey
     Operations.  Keenan, who will still coach, "now can initiate
     trades" (USA TODAY, 1/26)....Former Phillies GM LEE THOMAS
     will reportedly be hired by the Red Sox to serve as a top
     assistant to GM DAN DUQUETTE (BOSTON GLOBE, 1/26)...AZ-based
     Action Performance Companies' Senior VP/Marketing CHARLES
     BLOSSOM JR., has been named to the newly created position of
     COO (STAR-NEWS, 1/22).....GREG SEELING was named Dir of
     Corporate Sales for the Saints.  Seeling was the team's Dir
     of Ticket Sales for the past year.  The team also promoted
     JASEN FEYERHERM to Dir of Ticket Sales (Saints).
