HEY, KID: GREENE'S COCA-COLA SPOT VOTED TOP NFL COMMERCIAL

          The '79 Coca-Cola commercial featuring "Mean" Joe
     Greene tossing his jersey to a young fan was voted the best
     football spot ever, according to sports marketing and
     advertising experts at the first NFL Quarterback Club's
     "Gridiron Greats of Madison Avenue" event on Friday.  Second
     place was a '96 Budweiser spot featuring a Clydesdale
     kicking a football; Third place was a '77 Miller Lite ad
     featuring Bubba Smith ripping open the top of a Miller Lite
     can; Fourth place was the '96 Visa spot featuring a singing
     George Seifert, Jerry Rice, Steve Young and John Elway;
     Fifth place was a '74 spot for Beauty Mist featuring Joe
     Namath wearing women's panty hose (Quarterback Club).
