FACILITY NOTES

In Denver, a Metro Chamber poll says 73% of those
surveyed endorse a new domed stadium for the Broncos, but
the six-county metro football board, which will make the
final decision, calls that option "not economically
acceptable" (DENVER POST, 1/16)....In Cincinnati, the cost
of the Bengals' stadium project dropped by nearly $10M when
Hamilton County sold more than $71M in bonds at an interest
rate lower than those that financed Riverfront Stadium in
the '60s. Leaders had expected the bonds' interest rate to
be about 5.5%, but the rate came in at 4.92% (POST, 1/14).
