WHAT WILL BE THE FREQUENCY KENNETH? DAN RATHER AT NAGANO

          Dan Rather will join CBS Sports Olympic primetime host     Jim Nantz as co-host of the Olympic Opening Ceremony at the     '98 Winter Games in Nagano.  The lighting of the torch in     Nagano will be broadcast in primetime on Friday, February 6.      CBS also announced that Al Trautwig will serve as co-host of     its late night coverage of the Games.  He will join Michele     Tafoya to bring all the late-night action (CBS).          TAKE THE GOLDEN SEAL ROOT, MARTIN! Devils G Martin     Brodeur, weakened by the flu, "has been unable to fight back     fully with medication because of the Olympic drug tests,"     according to Mark Everson of the N.Y. POST.  Brodeur: "I'd     like to be able to take a cough medicine or something that     would prevent it from coming back.  But we're involved in a     thing where certain substances are banned, so I have to be     careful about what I take" (N.Y. POST, 1/13).
