          Devils Owner John McMullen will hold a press conference
     on Friday in response to a Newark Star-Ledger report that he
     has interest in a possible new arena in Hoboken, NJ (N.Y.
     TIMES, 12/18)....Penn State Univ. has hired Coopers and
     Lybrand to survey season-ticket holders and business owners
     about putting in luxury boxes and club seats (PHILADELPHIA
     INQUIRER, 12/18)....The Pacers "are trying to devise" a
     retail or restaurant project for a 10,000 square-foot corner
     of their new arena, the Indiana Fieldhouse (STAR-NEWS,
     12/17)....The Marketing Arm GM Ray Clark calls Dallas-based
     companies Blockbuster, Interstate, JCPenney and Exxon as
     "prospects" for a naming rights deal to the Mavericks and
     Stars facility (STAR-TELEGRAM, 12/18).
