MLB EXPANSION DRAFT COMES TO YOU TODAY FROM PHOENIX

          MLB's Expansion Draft takes place today in Phoenix and
     ESPN will provide live coverage starting at 4:00pm ET,
     anchored by Karl Ravech, with analysis by Peter Gammons,
     Dave Campbell and Joe Morgan.  Jimmy Roberts and Bob
     Carpenter will be reporting from Phoenix and Bonnie
     Bernstein will report from Tampa.  At 7:00pm ET, ESPN2 will
     pick up coverage of the event until 11:00pm ET (ESPN). 
     NEWSDAY's Steve Zipay writes that ESPN "is making a huge
     mistake by not scheduling a special post-draft edition of
     'Baseball Tonight' for wrap-up and analysis."  While an ESPN
     spokesperson said that the draft will be covered
     "extensively" on "SportsCenter," Zipay asks, "Didn't ESPN
     find time for an NFL post-draft review?" (NEWSDAY, 11/18).
          WORLD PARTY: MLB Int'l will transmit the draft feed to
     Mexico, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and the
     Pacific Rim.  TSN will televise the draft in Canada and NHK,
     Fuji TV and TBS will show it in Japan (MLBI).  See (#12).
