          In N.Y., Bob Raissman writes that the Evander
     Holyfield-Michael Moorer fight on Saturday "produced around"
     550,000 PPV buys last Saturday.  Raissman: "Anyway you slice
     it, Showtime took a bath here and probably lost between $7
     million and $8 million" (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 11/14).....SI's
     David Davis profiles Randy Hermes of CA-based Aerial Video
     Systems, inventor of the "Catcher Cam."  Hermes is now "busy
     perfecting" the "Goalie Cam" for Fox Sports' NHL broadcasts
     this season (SI, 11/17 issue)....Jim Lampley will host UPN's
     primetime telecasts of the U.S. Open Pro Figure Skating
     Championships on Saturday, November 29 and Sunday, November
     30 (UPN). Former Olympic skaters JoJo Starbuck and
     Christopher Bowman will provide analysis (Marquee Group).

Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown. SBJ’s Tom Friend also joins the show to share his insights into NBA viewership trends.
