TOTAL SPORTS GETS A VOTE OF CONFIDENCE FROM INVESTORS

          The founders of Charlotte-based Piedmont Venture
     Partners and Raycom Sports "have invested another" $1.5M in
     Raleigh-based Total Ltd., the Internet sports statistics
     company, according to Ken Elkins of the CHARLOTTE BUSINESS
     JOURNAL.  The $500,000 from Piedmont brings its investment
     in Total Ltd. to $1.5M, as it invested $1M in June.  Raycom
     founders Rick and Dee Ray will contribute $1M.  Total Ltd.,
     headed by former News & Observer Exec Editor Frank Daniels,
     does business as Total Sports.  Rick Ray will be named to
     Total Ltd.'s board (CHARLOTTE BUSINESS JOURNAL, 11/10).
