MD-based Marriott International "intends to spend
$447,000 to purchase the rights to the Champion Sports

bars and restaurants," according to the Baltimore SUN.
Marriott is considering opening 20 sports bars or
restaurants "worldwide" under the Champion name. As part of
the agreement, VA-based Champion Sports Inc. will become
Marriott's exclusive memorabilia supplier and a consultant
