The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) promoted CATHY
     WILLIS to Top 50 Account Manager in Apparel.  Willis
     previously worked as an Apparel Licensing Coordinator, and
     replaces MALINDA CHILDRESS, who has moved to Account Manager
     in Non-University Properties.  CLC also announced that BETH
     REESE has joined the company as an Account Manager for Non-
     Apparel Licensing (CLC)....Anaheim Sports named BOB GOBRECHT
     Dir of Sales & Marketing for the Angels.  He served as
     VP/Sales & Marketing for the Mariners from '93-96 (Angels).
     ...The MLS Fusion named LEO STILLITANO as its GM.

          JIM HARBAUGH has become a partner in Panther Racing, a
     new IRL team that will field cars for SCOTT GOODYEAR
     (INDIANAPOLIS STAR NEWS, 10/30)....Marlins players hit the
     late night circuit on Wednesday.  BOBBY BONILLA, who
     appeared on the "Late Show," on the intensity of Game Seven:
     "There were a couple of Zantac moments.  This is the truth. 
     I took it in the ninth inning.  I was yelling at Larry
     Starr, our trainer, I said, 'Get me that Zantac, please.  I
     can't take this, this is killing me'" (CBS, 10/29).  GARY
     SHEFFIELD appeared on the "Tonight Show."  Sheffield, when
     asked why teal is one of the Marlins' colors: "That's what

          DENNIS RODMAN plans on opening a new club in downtown
     Chicago on November 18, according to Michael Sneed of the
     CHICAGO SUN-TIMES.  The club will reportedly have a Las
     Vegas theme with a "mobile caviar bar, a cigar bar, a cognac
     bar and a port bar."  Rodman is teaming  with "noted
     restauranteur" ALEX DANA and "entertainment entrepreneur"
     BOB ITZKOW on the venture (CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, 10/30).
