CHARLES SCHWAB TAKES A BIG JUMP -- WITH SKI TEAM SPONSORSHIP

S.F.-based Charles Schwab Corp. "has inked a deal" with
the U.S. Ski Team "to provide athletes with retirement plan
services and brokerage firm internship opportunities" in its
263 branch offices, according to AD AGE. Schwab has also
created an investment growth fund for the U.S Ski Team "to
receive donations that new Schwab fund-raising programs will
solicit on their behalf." The U.S. Ski team will recognize
Schwab as its "official investment firm" (AD AGE, 10/24).
