LIZ DOLAN TO WORK ON OWN PROJECTS BUT BE ADVISOR TO NIKE

          Nike VP/Dir of Marketing LIZ DOLAN announced that she
     is leaving her position to form her own business working on
     projects "both inside and outside of Nike."  Dolan was named
     to Nike's Advisory Council, where she will focus on the
     company's brand communications plans and philanthropic
     programs.  Dolan: "Now is the right time for me to set out
     on my own."  Dolan will leave her Nike post on September 30. 
     Nike also announced that GEORGE PORTER has been named to the
     newly created position of VP/GM of its U.S. region.  Porter
     was President of Levi's USA for the last three years (Nike).
