          NOTES:  (^) Oakland's first six home games in '96 were
     played at 9,300-seat Cashman Field in Las Vegas.  Both
     Oakland and Cleveland have increased capacity slightly from
     '96, while Minnesota and Detroit have decreased capacity. 
     Anaheim Stadium, currently being renovated, has capacity
     listed at 34,000, down from 64,406 in '96.  The '96
     comparison is of average attendance through the same number
     of dates.  Due to the shortened '95 season, the '95
     comparison is of final season average.
