MEDIA NOTES

This evening, Classic Sports Network features "The Joe
Namath Show," a talk show hosted by Namath and Dick Schaap,
which was aired in '69 in the New York-area. CSN will carry
fifteen shows beginning on Wednesday (CSN). In L.A., Larry
Stewart said to call the Namath show "a classic is a bit of
a stretch. Camp, yes. Classic, no. But that isn't to say
they're not worth watching. Camp can be fun" (L.A. TIMES,
8/26)....Last night's Brewers game marked the first radio
broadcast made available via the team's official Web site,
www.milwaukeebrewers.com. The broadcast will be available
for the team's remaining games (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL,
8/27)....Preliminary overnights for the "WNBA on NBC" on
Saturday were a 1.6 (USA TODAY, 8/27)....Noting Pat
O'Brien's move to "Access Hollywood," USA TODAY's Rudy
Martzke writes that CBS "most likely will wind up seeking a
new host of its late-night show for the 1998 Nagano Winter
Olympics as well as the NCAA basketball tournament."
Martzke: "CBS probably will look within CBS Sports or
Entertainment for a successor" (USA TODAY, 8/27).
