THE UBIQUITOUS PAT O'BRIEN GOES HOLLYWOOD, ONCE AGAIN

          CBS Sports' Pat O'Brien will join the syndicated
     "Access Hollywood" starting September 8.  He will co-host
     the program with Giselle Fernandez ("Access Hollywood,"
     8/25).  O'Brien says his current assignment of hosting late-
     night coverage of the U.S. Open Tennis Championship will be
     his last for CBS, according to Jonatan Davies of the
     HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.  O'Brien is also due to host a late-
     night show during the '98 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan,
     but he said yesterday that is no longer the case.  A CBS
     Sports spokesperson: "He's got a contract to host Nagano, so
     we'll see what happens" (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 8/26).
