NAMES IN THE NEWS

          CHARLES BARKLEY, CHRISTIAN LAETTNER, and DAN MAJERLE
     will be among those participating in the Fourth Annual Jimmy
     V Celebrity Golf Classic in NC this weekend to raise money
     for the Jimmy V Foundation and cancer research (Jimmy V
     Foundation)....MARC ANDRES and BRAD SCHLACHTER are profiled
     in SUCCESS magazine for starting TX-based Team Mouse, which
     markets team logoed computer mousepads, wrist rests, and
     monitor frames.  The company has computer- and office-
     related products for 250 teams (SUCCESS, 9/97 issue).
     ...ABC's "Bad As I Wanna Be: The DENNIS RODMAN Story," was
     featured last night on "ET."  Rodman, on the film: "I think
     it's going to be in good taste.  Not too much sex, but just
     enough so people get a good taste of it" ("ET," 8/21).
     ..DEION SANDERS: "My dream is to be an evangelist.  That's
