SPONSORSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR SPORT IN SOCIETY AWARDS BANQUET

          Northeastern Univ. Center for the Study of Sport in
     Society is holding its 13th Annual Awards Banquet and Hall
     of Fame Induction Ceremony on October 28 at the Boston Park
     Plaza Hotel.  Sport in Society will present Giant Steps
     Awards to individuals who believe the sports community can
     take a leadership role in addressing society's problems,
     including the Packers' Reggie White; former MLBer Jack Aker;
     Columbia Univ.'s Jodi Norton and former Univ. of FL football
     player Lawrence Wright.  Excellence in Sports Journalism
     will go to ESPN's "Outside the Lines" and The Sporting News,
     among others.  Jackie Robinson will be posthumously inducted
     into the Sport in Society Hall of Fame.  Jackie's wife,
     Rachel, will accept the induction.  Dick Schaap will be the
     Master of Ceremonies and President Clinton is the Honorary
     Banquet Chair.  Sponsorships packages and tickets for the
     banquet and silent auction are still available.  For more
