CONCRETE SPONSORSHIP LINEUP FOR HARDCOURT CHAMPIONSHIPS

          The U.S. Women's Hardcourt Championships, held August
     16-23 in Stone Mountain Park, GA, has announced Kodak,
     Nextel, Delta, USTA Visa, Heineken, Atlanta Journal
     Constitution, Aquafina and E.J. Gallo as new corporate
     sponsors for this year's event.  Sponsorship packages for
     the $450,000 event include tournament program advertising,
     on-court signage, display booths, on-site product sampling,
     VIP hospitality, sponsor promotions and TV spots on Fox
     Sports Net and CBS.  Delta and USTA Visa, the first sponsors
     to sign multiyear agreements with the tournament, have
     committed to four-year pacts (Hardcourt Championships).
          RACQUET OVERHEAD: Spalding Sports Worldwide introduced
     its official ATP Tour tennis racquet lines last month, the
     first stage in its "comprehensive agreement" with the ATP
     Tour.  The Pro-Stock, ATP Tour Pro and the Extreme Pro lines
     will retail from $89.95-189.95 (TENNIS WEEK, 8/14 issue).
