SELIG-PRIEB INTERVIEWED IN TODAY'S JOURNAL SENTINEL

Brewers VP & General Counsel Wendy Selig-Prieb,
daughter of Acting Commissioner/Brewers Owner Bud Selig, is
interviewed by Kevin Paige in today's MILWAUKEE JOURNAL
SENTINEL. Selig-Prieb, on being a woman in the male
dominated world of MLB: "I am very aware that within the
private sector as well as the public sector, everybody
grapples with 'glass ceiling' issues. I think baseball has
done particularly well when you look at not only me, but
there are other women in the industry who have risen to
positions of responsibility." Selig-Prieb, on her father:
"[B]eing Bud Selig's daughter shouldn't work to my
advantage, and it also shouldn't work to my disadvantage."
On criticism toward her father: "[W]hen you serve in the
position that my father does as the leader of the industry,
to some extent you are a lightning rod. It doesn't mean at
times I didn't feel it was unfair or unwarranted, because I
did. ... I believe that people do now really appreciate what
he's done for the industry (JOURNAL SENTINEL, 8/13).
