COCA-COLA AND THE NFL TAKE AD ACTION TO THE BIG SCREEN

          Coca-Cola and the NFL have created a movie trailer
     "promoting" the start of the '97 NFL season, according to AD
     AGE.  The trailer broke last weekend on 14,000 screens and
     was produced by NFL Properties.  It features actor George
     Wendt "imagining what going to a theater to watch a movie
     would be like if it were more like going to a football
     game."  The trailer runs through October (AD AGE, 8/11).
          NEW A-B SPOTS: Anheuser-Busch "plans to run" eight new
     spots during the '97 NFL season "focusing on the heritage"
     of Budweiser beer, according to AD AGE.  The DDB Needham
     Worldwide, Chicago, spots feature A-B Chair August Busch
     III, and A-B VP/Marketing August Busch IV (AD AGE, 8/11).
