"DISCONNECTED NUMBER" LISTED NEXT TO ALBERT'S NAME

          According to Laura Italiano in this morning's N.Y.
     POST, sportscaster MARV ALBERT'S "name and phone number are
     listed in the address book of murdered Manhattan dominatrix
     Nadia Frey."  The report also says the address book "listed
     a disconnected ... number next to the name of the embattled
     sportscaster."  Italiano:  "Officials for ... NBC Sports
     declined comment.  But an NBC spokesman, Ed Markey,
     acknowledged Albert had talked to network executives about
     the allegations."  Markey: "I'm sure that there have been
     people here he's spoken to."  Albert's spokesperson Howard
     Rubenstein: "I have no personal knowledge that could confirm
     those reports" (N.Y. POST, 7/31).
