EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          GARY FITZSIMMONS was named Assistant GM for the
     Warriors.  He had served as Dir of Player Personnel for the
     Cavs for 11 seasons (S.F. CHRONICLE, 7/22)....MARK PIAZZA
     was named VP/Ops for the NHL Rangers.  He had served as
     VP/PR for the Flyers for the past five years (PHILA. DAILY
     NEWS, 7/22)....PAUL BENNETT was named PR Manager for Classic
     Sports Network.  Bennett had worked at HBO Sports (NEWSDAY,
     7/22)....RALPH CARRAS has been named VP/Finance of NFLP.
     Previously, Carras was VP/Finance for MTV, VH1 and their
     ancillary businesses (NFL)....Fox Sports Net named WILLIAM
     BORSON VP/Production.  He had been Dir of Production at WGN-
     TV in Chicago and Exec Producer/WGN Sports (Fox Sports Net).
