JIM FURYK MEATS HIS NEW SPONSOR, RUTH'S CHRIS STEAK HOUSE

          PGA golfer Jim Furyk has signed an exclusive two-year
     sponsorship deal with Ruth's Chris Steak House.  The deal
     marks the Steak House's first-ever sponsorship in pro
     sports.  Furyk will wear the restaurant's logo on his
     apparel, starting with this week's British Open.  Ruth's
     Chris will include Furyk in various marketing and
     promotional activities (Ruth's Chris).  Furyk, 27, is ranked
     seventh on PGA Tour money list and has finished in the top
     ten in his last six PGA Tour events (THE DAILY). 
          MORE WINE? Inglenook St. Regis, the alcohol-free wine,
     has partnered with the LPGA to become the "Official Non-
     Alcoholic Wine of the LPGA."  The deal includes on-site
     presence at select LPGA events as well as participation in
     the Gillette LPGA Golf Clinics for Women.  Inglenook St.
     Regis currently backs the LPGA's Michelle McGann (LPGA).
