The NFL will roll out a national line of apparel for
women, featuring smaller logos and a different cut from the
men's line. After testing in eight markets in '96, ten

sleepwear, headwear and accessories at department stores and
mass merchants this year. Licensees are Reebok, AZ-based
Antigua, NJ-based Bentley, WA-based Buffalo Inc., TX-based
Drew Pearson, MI-based Fit For Sport, NY-based G-III and
ITP, MO-based Legends and NC-based Moretz (NFL).
SHOW & TELL: NFLP, Starter and JCPenney team for the
"JCPenney/Starter Take a Player to School Contest," which
gives 30 kids the chance to take an NFL player to their
school. Kids can enter at 800 JCPenney stores, with winners
receiving the visit, a $1,000 donation to their school,
tickets to a game and Starter merchandise (NFL).
SEASON TIX HERE: Champion will promote its new NFL Pro
Line Practicewear with a season-ticket giveaway through 600

two free season tickets for the '97 season. Champion NFL
Practicewear will also be awarded. The promo is supported
by in-store materials, JCPenney pre-print circulars, and ads
in SI, GameDay and regional papers in 14 markets (NFL).
