          St. Paul's NHL expansion franchise has received non-
     refundable $100 deposits for 8,500 season tickets for its
     inaugural 2000-01 season (ST. PAUL PIONEER PRESS, 7/13).
     ...Nashville NHL Owner Craig Leipold and team President Jack
     Diller will meet with NHL execs tomorrow at Nashville's new
     arena to discuss the team's marketing, nickname and logo
     (NASHVILLE BANNER, 7/15)....The Green Bay Visitors and
     Convention Bureau estimates that by this weekend, the
     Packers' training camp will have drawn 8,000 people, and
     that this year's training camp will bring in $4M to the
     area, double the revenues of last summer (USA TODAY, 7/16).
     ...The Brewers, Metropolitan Milwaukee Assoc. of Commerce
     (MMAC) and the Greater Milwaukee Committee are offering area
     businesses a 15-game ticket package for employees that
     offers discounts of as much as $105 per season ticket for
     companies joining the program.  The MMAC has a deal with the
     team to make up the difference financially for any figure
     below 10,000 season tickets.  The Brewers have sold about
     8,200 season tickets (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 7/15).

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown.
