     will send the wrong message to Little Leaguers" (DETROIT
     FREE PRESS, 6/27)....Former Laker JAMES WORTHY was inducted
     into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame (NC Sports Hall
     of Fame)....76ers Exec Advisor SONNY HILL will receive the
     2nd annual Philadelphia Sports Congress Community Service
     Award today for his "contribution to the quality of life in
     Philadelphia through sports" (76ers).
