TEAM MEDIA NOTES: SI TO PUBLISH RED WINGS' SPECIAL EDITION

6.12.1997

          SportsChannel FL announced that Jacor Communication's
     WDAE-1250 AM will be the Lightning's flagship radio station
     (Lightning).  The RSN also introduced Sarasota's WSPB-AM and
     Venice's WAMR-AM as affiliates.  Several more affiliates
     will be added in the coming weeks (SportsChannel).
     ...SportsChannel OH plans to telecast six WNBA Cleveland
     Rockers games during their inaugural season.  Mike Snyder
     will handle play-by-play with analyst Amy Prichard
     (SportsChannel)....Sports Illustrated Presents will publish
     a special issue commemorating the Red Wings' '97 Stanley Cup
     Championship.  It will have a limited press run of 400,000,
     and be sold primarily in MI, with some copies reaching IL,
     OH and Canada.  It will retail for $5.95 and be available
     starting tomorrow (SI).
