FOX SPORTS WEST 2 ADDS L.A. AREA'S LARGEST CABLE OPERATOR

          Fox Sports West 2 "continues to make headway in
     reaching more southern California cable households,"
     announcing three deals yesterday including a 10-year deal
     with MediaOne, formerly Continental Cablevision, according
     to Larry Stewart of the L.A. TIMES.  The agreement with
     MediaOne, the area's largest cable system, plus deals with
     Cox Communications and Falcon Cable, increase FSW2's
     subscriber base to 2.1 million homes, with Time Warner,
     Century and Comcast "the major holdouts" (L.A. TIMES, 6/10).
