COYOTES RAISE TICKET PRICES FOR THEIR SOPHOMORE SEASON

          The Coyotes have raised ticket prices for the '97-98
     season, "with the highest increase being $5 on seats that
     went for $49.75 last season," according to Bob McManaman of
     the ARIZONA REPUBLIC.  Tickets for the '97-98 season will
     range from $9.50 to $200.  The new prices are: $9.50 (from
     $8.75); $18.75 ($15.75); $28.75 ($26.75); $40.75 ($37.75);
     $49.75 ($45.75); $54.75 ($49.75) and $72 ($70).  Front-row
     seats surrounding the glass at ice level will remain at $200
     and $100.  Coyotes President Shawn Hunter said the prices
     "remain below the league-wide average."  The average price
     for a Coyotes ticket will be $36.01, while the league
     average "is projected to be" $41.40 (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 6/7).
