DITKA SIGNS WITH NEW ORLEANS FOX AFFIL FOR WEEKLY SHOWS

Saints Coach Mike Ditka has "changed his broadcasting
allegiance," according to Carl DiOrio of the HOLLYWOOD
REPORTER. Ditka, who was with NBC Sports for several years,
has reportedly signed a three-show-a-week deal with New
Orleans' Fox affil, WVUE-TV. Two of the weekly shows will
be rebroadcast on the Fox Sports Southwest RSN, and a source
said that "talks are under way with a 'top' TV station in
Chicago for a rebroadcast of one of the shows into that
market." Plans also call for a syndicated rebroadcast of
the show once a week by "several regional stations" in the
team's home market. DiOrio notes that NBC's New Orleans
affil had tried to sign Ditka (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 5/30).
