          USA TODAY's David Lieberman reports that News Corp. CEO
     Rupert Murdoch "could cut a deal, perhaps by this weekend,
     to become a minority partner with nonvoting shares" in
     Primestar.  Lieberman adds that Primestar partner Time
     Warner, "which is feuding with Murdoch," opposes the deal
     (USA TODAY, 5/22)....Lifetime debuts "Breaking Through:
     Women Behind the Wheel," tonight at 7:00pm ET.  The special
     is hosted by actress Geena Davis and among the drivers
     featured are Indy 500 qualifier Lyn St. James and drag racer
     Shirley Muldowney (USA TODAY, 5/22)....ESPN earned a 2.0
     rating for Tuesday's Game Three of the Rangers-Flyers
     Eastern Conference Finals.  TNT earned a 7.6 rating for Game
     One of the Heat-Bulls NBA Eastern Conference Finals Tuesday,
     the highest-rated TNT program in '97 and the second-highest
     rated game in Turner Sports' 13 years of televising the NBA
     playoffs.  Turner Sports has averaged a 3.3 rating thus far
     for the '97 NBA playoffs, up 10% from last year (PHILA.
     INQUIRER, 5/22)....Among USA TODAY's list of the top 150
     best-selling books this week are Rick Pitino's "Success Is a
     Choice" (#27); Earl Woods' "Training a Tiger" (#62); Dennis
     Rodman's "Walk on the Wild Side" (#105); Cal Ripken Jr.'s
     "The Only Way I Know" (#123); and Keith Olbermann's and Dan
     Patrick's "The Big Show" (#137) (USA TODAY, 5/22).
