WITH MVP IN HAND, THIS IS ONE MAILMAN WHO DOES DELIVER

          PA-based shoe and apparel company Apex launched a
     "whirlwind tour" of the official Apex World's Largest
     Mailman MVP T-shirt, in honor of Karl Malone being named
     MVP.  The 23 x 20 foot shirt was presented to Malone at the
     Delta Center following yesterday's MVP ceremony.  Apex has
     teamed with a local radio station in sponsoring the "Spot
     the official Karl Malone Apex MVP T-shirt" contest, where
     the shirt will be moved to various locations in the Salt
     Lake City area during the next two weeks (Apex).
          TOWER OF POWER:  UT-based Vision International unveiled
     a "massive" sign depicting Malone in full uniform on the
     roof of its company, according to the DESERET NEWS.  The
     sign will be visible to all air traffic at Salt Lake
     International Airport (DESERET NEWS, 5/17).
