IRSAY: NO BIG PRESENTATION ON COLTS PLANNED FOR NFL MEETINGS

Colts Owner Jim Irsay said it is "premature" to discuss
his franchise's future at the NFL Owners meetings Tuesday
and Wednesday in San Diego, according to Mike Chappell of
the INDIANAPOLIS STAR-NEWS. Irsay: "It will be a very open
process and I will be happy to answer any questions that
come up. But it doesn't do any good to say too much because
things are still in motion." On May 28, Irsay and NFL
officials will oversee another informational meeting with
Indianapolis' "corporate and political powers." Marketing
studies will be unveiled and "possible solutions" to help
the Colts remain viable in the area will be discussed.
Chappell added by mid-June, "the fate of pro football in
Indianapolis could be known" (INDIANAPOLIS STAR-NEWS, 5/17).
COURT DATE: This Friday, Judge Daniel Pfleging is
scheduled to hear from both sides contesting "many issues"
surrounding the multimillion-dollar estate of the late Colts
Owner Robert Irsay (INDIANAPOLIS STAR-NEWS, 5/15).
