SEAHAWKS STADIUM MEASURE DOWN BY ALMOST 20% IN LATEST SURVEY

          A newly released SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER/KOMC-TV
poll reveals that voters are "turning thumbs down" on the
campaign to build a new home for the Seahawks, according to
the POST-INTELLIGENCER's Rebecca Boren. If the June 17
election had been held last week, the survey showed the
stadium proposal would have lost 56-38%, with 6% undecided.
Only voters under age 25 were surveyed as backing the
measure. The poll, of 600 likely voters with a +/- 3.5%
margin of error, used the ballot title that was subsequently
changed by court order, which may affect the results
     (SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER, 5/15).
