AD AGE NEWS & NOTES: "PEPSI STUFF" PROMO SET TO KICK OFF

          PepsiCo will break its estimated $50M-plus "Pepsi
     Stuff" promo next week, according to Judann Pollack of AD
     AGE.  Shaquille O'Neal, Picabo Street, Derek Jeter, Andre
     Agassi and Deion Sanders are featured in the promo,
     appearing in an TV campaign from BBDO Worldwide, in addition
     to in-store ads beginning this month.  The promo allows
     consumers to order sports-related merchandise by collecting
     Pepsi points (AD AGE, 5/12).
          NEWS & NOTES: Nobody Beats the Wiz will debut a new TV
     spot this week in the N.Y. market featuring Janet Evans,
     Boomer Esiason, Dave Brown, Neil O'Donnell and Joe Namath
     shopping at the Wiz's Paramus, NJ, superstore.  The spot is
     from Bozell Worldwide's Bozell Retail, N.Y.....Michael
     Jordan is featured in new TV ads for WorldCom, produced from
     the merger of LDDS WorldCom, MFS Communications Corp. and
     UUNET TechnologiesInc.  The spots were created by Bethesda,
     MD-based Earle Palmer Brown (AD AGE, 5/12 issue).
