JOURNAL, 4/28)....Westinghouse Electric Corp. posted a
first-quarter net loss of $151M, or $.23/share, "reflecting
soft ratings" at CBS and costs from launching a new cable
service offset by "strength in the radio unit." Last year,
Westinghouse had a first-quarter profit of $181M, or
     $.41/share (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 4/28)...."The Fabulous
Sports Babe" is moving to New York and will be featured on
ABC Radio May 12 (N.Y. POST, 4/28)....In S.F., Susan Slusser
wrote that ESPN's Larry Beil has "called" CBS' S.F. affil
KPIX-TV "to express interest" in the station's lead sports
anchor spot, which is handled by Dan Fouts, who is leaving
to pursue other opportunities (S.F. CHRONICLE, 4/25).
