          Author and Fox football analyst TIM GREEN has signed a
     three-book deal with Warner Books (N.Y. POST, 4/20)....In
     Chicago, Rick Kogan writes, "If there is a hotter new bar in
     town that the bar at Iron Mike's Grille, we'd like to see
     it."  The restaurant, named after Saints Coach MIKE DITKA,
     is "such a smash" that there are plans to open Iron Mike's
     Grilles around the county, as many as ten of them (CHICAGO
     TRIBUNE, 4/20)....JULIUS ERVING and former NFL RB JOE
     WASHINGTON and two Raleigh, NC, businessmen will form a
     NASCAR racing team that would be the only minority-owned
     squad on the Winston Cup circuit (Mult., 4/22).
