the league will announce a singular-licensed ice facility
with a development company. The facility name is TBD.

will be ring mat sponsor for the April 26 George Foreman-Lou
Savarese fight to be televised on HBO (AD AGE, 4/23)....New
members of NFL Properties' Quarterback Club, offered to
sponsors as part of integrated packages, are Vinny
Testaverde, Elvis Grbac, Gus Frerotte and Tony Banks. NFLP
General Counsel Gary Gertzog said Steve McNair and Trent
Dilfer were "close" to joining the club and added that he's
"close to inking" a "major automotive deal," using club
members....CISL's Detroit franchise switched auto
sponsorship from Chrysler to GM, and "in the process,
changed the team name." The team had been the "Neon," in a
deal with Chrysler, but will now be known as the "Safari"
starting in June, after the GMC van (BRANDWEEK, 4/21
issue)....AMF Bowling Worldwide announced a $40M joint
venture with Singapore-based Hong Leong Corp. Limited to
open 20 bowling centers in Asia. The joint venture will be
called "Hong Leong AMG Leisure Holdings Pte. Ltd" (RICHMOND
TIMES-DISPATCH, 4/22).
