EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          USA Hockey named Islanders GM MIKE MILBURY as GM of the
     '97 U.S. National Team  (USA Hockey)....The NCAA named ELSA
     KIRCHER COLE as General Counsel.  Cole will be responsible
     for management of all legal issues and the coordination of
     all litigation involving the organization (NCAA)....The
     William Morris Agency named ARNOLD RIFKIN as its new
     President of the agency (L.A. TIMES, 4/15)....MLS named JOHN
     ERTMANN Exec VP/Business Affairs and Chief Legal Officer. 
     Ertmann comes to MLS after eight years at NBC's Sports
     division where he served as VP/Negotiations since '89
     (MLS)....MIKE NEMETZ has joined Fox Sports South as the
     network's affiliate Sales Account Exec, having previously
     served in a similar capacity at Atlanta-based Landmark
     Communications' The Travel Channel (Fox).
