SI FOR KIDS STUDY: JOYNER-KERSEE FAVORITE FEMALE ATHLETE

          THE DAILY continues to look at information taken from     the August/December '96 SI for Kids omnibus study among     children.  The total combined sample consists of 615     children, including 313 boys and 302 girls, ages 9-13 years     old.  Today's question, taken in August, '96:  "Thinking     about female athletes, what is the name of your favorite     female athlete?" (THE DAILY):
