NFL'S SMALLEST CITY'S TEAM SHEDDING SMALL MARKET IMAGE

          The Packers "did so well financially" in '96 that their
     "image as a small-market team might need to be reworked,"
     according to Bob McGinn in the MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL. 
     The Packers were given under $1M in'95 from an NFL revenue
     sharing fund which gives teams that fall below the median
     revenue level as much as $3M a year, but Packers Corporation
     Treasurer John Underwood said the team was "not expecting
     anything" from the fund this year.  The Packers "expect to
     inform stockholders" at their annual meeting next month that
     their "bottom line" will exceed the previous record of
     $5.44M, set in '95 (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 4/10).
